Newbury Bedlam Paintball

By October 25, 2011December 3rd, 2021No Comments

If you’re living beneath Newbury or next to Reading or somewhere near Oxford, paintballing days have just been opened!

We are proud to announce that Bedlam has just added Newbury to its list of sites where you can enjoy fun, action-packed, thrilling, heart-beating paintball! South of Oxford, paintballing is all yours now whether you live in Reading (20 minutes ride) or Newbury (5 minutes ride).

The site features, as usual, the high quality paintballing as on all other Bedlam Paintballing sites, and also a variety of pretty awesome choices to marker it out on the field, including games like Speedball, Bunker Hill, The Village, and The Badlands.

Newbury’s Paintball site also has an awesome kitchen, meaning when you’re not shooting at your friends and enemies, you can eat almost anything you want to pump up for the next game. Newbury’s site features a shop to load up on new gear and maybe some extras to take home.

We like to expand, and give people in and around the Newbury area a chance to have a fun day out, because Paintball is all about letting go and having a day off. At least that’s been my experience. Paintballing has always cooled me down (even though I came out with sweaty palms and foreheads) because it relieved me of all the stress that I had during the week. And let’s be honest, having a marker and shooting it off with friends is probably one of the most fun things you can do, especially if you like crazy and adventurous stuff (I know I do).

If you ever wish to pop down from Newbury, Reading or Oxford paintballing is just around the corner, and Bedlam’s opening times are from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and there are 8 games for us paintballers to play.

Why choose paintballing?

Paintballing is incredible for building team spirit and being able to strategize with other people. It is as much of an offensive game as it is a defensive one, which is why it appeals to so many people. You are both working as a team, but also have to watch your own back. So if you think it’s just another hobby, you’re quite wrong. Sure, it can be a hobby, but it’s more than a sport kids like to play. Companies, organizations and sports teams bring their employees/players to a round of paintball to help build teamwork. Just take a look at my post about the Edinburgh and Scottish Rugby teams coming over to Bedlam for a day of Paintballing!
