Danny Macaskill

Everybody have a good weekend? Despite the foul weather it was great to see such a big turn out of players across our sites – we’re made of hardier stuff up here that’s for sure! As it’s still raining this morning as I type this, I thought instead of filling you in on any paintball updates, I’d give you all a bit of fun to cheer up this miserable Monday.

Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock for the last year, you will probably have seen Danny Macaskill’s last video “April 2009” as it quickly achieved YouTube-legend status (not to mention the many subsequent advertising campaigns and music videos he cameo’d in after its success). But last week, the Scottish trials rider from Skye launched his follow-up video, entitled “Way Back Home”.

Taking the slow journey from Edinburgh back to his home town of Dunvegan on the Isle of Skye, he makes the most of the landscape along the way – from Edinburgh Castle to Inchcolm Island. If you’ve ever seen parkour, imagine that: but on a bike.

We love Danny’s work here at Bedlam and let’s hope his new video is just as successful as his breakthrough release!
